PBoK
The project PBoK (Plastics Body of Knowledge) aims to develop an agile, sustainability-optimized configurator for plastics.
Challenges: Reduction of GHG emissions, Support of
the circular economy, Optimization of ressource efficiency
Aims: PBoK (Plastics Body of Knowledge) is a system designed to support the sustainable use of plastics in the circular economy.
It is based on a reverse configuration approach and uses fuzzy logic/AI and track & trace systems to specify sustainable plastics, optimize product configurations and provide information on the sustainability of products.
Key objectives: Reduction of GHG emissions, Support of
the circular economy, Optimization of ressource efficiency
Main outputs:
Expert system
Knowledge base
Inference component
Dialog component- Explanatory component
Generic and specific knowledge acquisition component
Project Partner:
HyProMag GmbH
Technologiezentrum Horb GmbH & Co. KG
Hochschule Pforzheim
The project is supported by the RegioWIN 2030 and is co-founded by the european union (EFRE).
Project Budget: 3 664 000€
